A starter guide based on the built-in Folders Flow V1 help: the essential gestures for exploring, understanding, and handling your files without losing context.
Open a folder
Start from a local folder and keep the map centered on that root.
Read the map
Use lanes, zoom, selection, and breadcrumbs to understand where an item sits before acting on it.
Search the map
Use search after the first graph batch to reveal matching items.
Preview safely
Preview selected files before acting, without modifying them.
Use file actions
Right-click an item to copy, cut, paste, rename, duplicate, or move it to Trash. Risky actions ask for confirmation.
Check receipts and undo
Completed file actions leave a receipt in the queue panel. Use Undo while the receipt is still valid.
Settings snapshot
Choose the app language and review the current settings contract from the Settings menu.
MVP trust model
MVP features remain available. Future-feature guardrails are prepared but inactive. Measurement consent is local and revocable.
Local and offline
This help is built into the app. It does not open the web, scan other folders, or modify files.
